Description - Jewish Heritage Connection
Scranton, Pennsylvania

The Jewish Heritage Connection offers a wide variety of instructional, teaching services to the Jewish Community of Northeastern Pennsylvania. Features classes and discussion groups concentrating on Torah, Talmud, Jewish Holidays and Traditions, Hebrew language reading skills. A "Shabbat Shalom Fax" which summarizes the weekly parsha and gives a d'var Torah and Jewish thought is faxed every Thursday evening. In addition, the JHC sponsors a highly meaningful Sunday morning minyan at the Abington Torah Center in Clarks Summit.
